Meet Dr. Carle

Dr. Kirsten Carle received her naturopathic medical degree with high honors from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, a four-year postgraduate naturopathic medical school. Upon graduation, she continued her clinical experience working with a team of integrative medical professionals at the Stram Center for Integrative Medicine. Licensed to practice naturopathic medicine in Vermont, she worked there for over five years, first as a primary care provider and later specializing in complex chronic health issues.

As a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Carle is trained in both conventional biomedical sciences and the skilled use of natural therapies, including diet, nutrition, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, and homeopathy. She believes that health is a dynamic process that requires the underlying foundation of daily positive lifestyle choices and, when needed, the addition of natural therapies to support the body’s innate ability to heal and thrive. Her individualized approach focuses on the person rather than just their symptoms. Through consideration of the bio-psycho-social aspects of the whole person, she helps people uncover and address their individual obstacles to optimal health and well-being. Dr. Carle teaches her clients about their unique bodies and biochemistry, empowering them to participate in their healing journey actively.

She has advanced training in biotherapeutic drainage, homeopathy (New England School of Homeopathy), tickborne illness (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society), and mold/mycotoxin illness (mentorship with Drs. Jill Crista ND and Neil Nathan MD). Her primary areas of focus include hormonal imbalance, women’s health, tickborne illness, biotoxin illness, anxiety/depression, sleep issues, autoimmune disease, and gastrointestinal conditions. She is also experienced in working with highly-sensitive clients who experience frequent adverse effects from many medications, botanical medicines, and supplements.

Dr. Carle is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), a Board member of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NYANP), and she is actively engaged in the effort to license naturopathic doctors in the State of New York. She currently provides wellness consultations in her office in Latham, NY, and via telehealth.

Please be aware that Dr. Carle frequently collaborates with her wonderful colleagues at SynRG Integrative but maintains her own separate practice in the same office space.
